New Positions

I'm not hating tummy time quite so much as I used to. Mommy is trying to teach me to roll over, but I'm not quite there yet.I'm also enjoying the Bumbo seat more and more.

Got to go to bed now, Grandma is coming tomorrow and I need my sleep!

Lots of Growing

On Friday, I turned 3 months old! Here's my 3 month picture. I'm getting so big!And I'm growing lots of hair.I had such a great weekend! Mommy's friend, the guru, and her husband Greg came to visit us.

This is what I would look like as a red haired Donald Trump baby.I also wanted to show you how cute my cousins are -- these are pics Grandma took last week.

A new state for me!

I had my first out of state experience today (not to be confused with an out of body experience)! Mommy and I went to visit our friends Cate, Michael and Rebecca in Boston (oh, and we saw their mommies, too). Mommy has known Amy since she was about 3 years old, and they both went to high school with pregnant Andrea (Rebecca's mommy). Cate is only 2 months older than me, so she is Mommy's barometer for how I'm doing and what to expect. She doesn't look that much bigger than me, does she? That's because as of Tuesday, I weighed 14 lbs 12 oz!!!Catee was teaching me how to make tummy time more pleasant, and how to roll over...but I don't quite understand either of those lessons yet.Earlier this week, Grandma came to visit and she had me in the front pack (she didn't like it, but I did -- I immediately went to sleep!) She helped Mommy weed the garden, too!

Some things just aren't right

Like Mommy taking a picture of me waking up from a nap in her lap..Or Mango waking up from a nap in MY bouncy seat...But some things are just so wonderfully right, like the happy arrival of my new friend, Zoe Grace! Mommy's friend Lauren is Zoe's mommy.And lucky Zoe already has a big brother (Zev) to show her the ropes!Another new friend was born this week, too! Mommy's friends Gabe and Dylan had Rosemary Aldonna, but we don't have any pics of her yet. So be satisfied with this small scale re-enactment of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in our backyard.

Touch a Truck!

I woke up yesterday morning with my usual grumpy face...
then I stretched and realized it was a beautiful day!

So I started smiling and got ready to enjoy it.Mommy took me to visit Sam and Brady again. There was a Touch a Truck in the park right near their house.

It was so much fun! See how happy I am?

I get around

Sorry I've been offline for a few days, but my grandparents from Michigan were here this weekend. I didn't get any good pictures, though we did have some good times. And yesterday I went to my first playgroup at the park...but I slept the whole time and so also have no pictures to share. Today I went to a Kite Festival with Sam and Brady, and also to see Grandma's office, and I do have pictures to share!

Sorry about this hat, Grandpa -- I know the Sox suck and Yankees rule, but I needed to keep the sun out of my face and this is the only hat that Aunt Kerry would let me borrow.

It was sufficiently windy for a kite festival, but Aunt Kerry still looks gorgeous.Eventually I became so embarrassed about my hat that I passed out from the shame.

Family day!

I spent this beautiful sun-shiney day with a bunch of my family! We went to Sam & Brady's house, where I was immediately accosted by my toddler cousins. I think they were asking me for gum or donuts, but I didn't have either.

When they finally released me, I got a big hug and snuggle from Sam.Then we went to the park with Grandma. She was teaching Sam & Brady how to pump their legs on the swing. I don't think they 100% got it yet, but they're coming along just fine.Mommy and I also stopped at Gigi's house. She was so happy to see us, but I didn't get any pics of us together today.

Do you know that it's supposed to reach 70 degrees tomorrow????????????

AWESOME!

I don't have any pics of me being outside today, but I spent a lot of time out there enjoying the BEAUTIFUL 60+ degree weather! Grandma came to visit, and we went for a walk and planted some pansies. We also visited some of our neighbors. It was a great day!

I've tried this seat before, but until today I didn't really like it. Look at me now, I'm a big boy!

Spring!

I got sprung from my house arrest for a few hours today to enjoy a long walk through the McLean Game Refuge up the road in Granby.

I hope the warm weather sticks around -- I love being outside!!!

Brady likes me too!

Every time I visit my CT cousins, Sam always lavishes attention on me and makes me feel all warm and snuggly (and poked), while Brady isn't that into me. Until yesterday! Look how happy we are! He was giving me kisses, just like Sam always does.We all went out to lunch, and to the canal walk to enjoy the beautiful sunny day. And I took a big nap on Mommy in the front pack (thanks to Grandma for this handy gift!) Don't worry, I didn't go outside with naked legs.
